Can't help with the depth finder, but the crappies are starting up good in the Six Mile area. A buddy and I got 24 yesterday and 31 today. All nice big slabs. We were long lining in the Oak Hill area between 8 and 20 foot. They were scattered. We were using 1/16 chartreuse jig heads with a white/chartreuse curly tail grub. Didn't find them bedding up yet, but I hear some have.

Just curious, do you have a camp near 6 mile? I ask because I live on the water at 6 mile and see you had been fishing here. The crappie had started pretty good, but the last week or a little more has really changed it for now.Quote:
