well i am a crappie fisherman but i can tell you it is up about 10 foot from a week ago and for cumberland some would say muddy but i like the color of it. i usually catch a couple green crap but sunday didnt even catch any of those.
With the water temps still as low as they are the float and fly is going to be your best bet right now if the water is clear.
The water is not clear. I would throw an Alabama rig or a suspending jerk bait with rattles. It was 4 degrees warmer in the heads of the creeks on Saturday.
Thanks guys for all your help.
Well, how did you do. We need an update.
I fished 8 hours and didn't get a single hit. I throw everything. Jerkbait, a-rig, deep diving, squarebill, tube, stick bait, worm, swimbait, lizard, jig, and spinnerbait. But I didn't feel to bad because only two people on my team caught fish and one of those where a striper. The other was a 4 13 largemouth.
The water temp was 43.3 mostplaces but I did see as high as 45. But on the plus side the where some guys up in white oak who had 38 keeper crappie that I know of. They where ranging from 12 to 14 inches. At least thats what the game warden told us.
