Sneakypete Strikes (Sort of)

Hit the Palmetto Island lakes again this am. Started out hooking four (:bash) choupiques - on flies - actually catching two of the slimy toothy critters. Headed back to the truck in late morning, I stumbled across a suicidal sac - and then another! Ended up with four, most of them whole-fryers but...
Anyway, I actually caught some today. The universe must be all a-scramble! Oh, after feeding the choupiques chartreuse, I switched to blue and white and caught all the sacs right against the bank. Here's proof!Attachment 152211Attachment 152212

Hey Pete, glad to see you're still trying and still kickin'. I love stories like that. I wanted to try flies today but the wind was just too much. Maybe nest time.

J-R - I was bank-fishing, and I didn't want a gator/turtle to eat them off a stringer. Next time I'll tote a little cooler along with me (But that's a sure way not to catch anything!).
