What size hooks

What size hooks do I need for tying jigs? I want to tie a hair jig with no head, want a 90 degree turn to the hook eye.

Depends on what you are targeting and how big you want your jig profile to be. Probably #4 or #2 would suit you well.

lots of folks on the COE's use a 1 and 1/0

I like 1 and 1/0 and I prefer sickle hooks

Also depends on what kind of hair. Like if it's kip tail not sure I would go big!
