Reporting In
Thought I would report in! Lol. I just couldn't take the boats any longer on Weiss and all the small fish I was having to weed thru! I went looking for quality over quantity! Wound up I found a boat ramp closer to my new honey hole I found a few weeks ago "spring fed" and hit Neely for a few hours. Water temps been around 43 - 44 and the place I fished it got up to 52.7. Caught 59 and had 53 keepers over 10 inches. All but a couple were on jiffy jigs..red head/ black neck/ chart tail an 1/24oz head. Depth from 3ft out to 12ft. Sorry no pics...didn't think about pic until I was bagging fillets. Now its back to work and I got crappie on my mind! Lol

He may have meant that he caught 53 legal sized crappie but didn't keep them all. We cull all the time.

He never fishes alone he almost always fishes with his retired uncle that he is close to but i have fished myself with him and he would never keep over the limit so you did miss understand,

Sure am glad there always seems to be somebody on here that thinks we don't know there's a limit on crappie.

sorry I misunderstood I dint think any crappie fisherman would keep over the limit . or any short fish I don't even keep 9 1/2 any more and I have thrown back 10s before good luck to all hope god blesses yall in this years fishing ... god has already bless me this year
