I heard that there were a lot of trailers in the parking lot at Piney, but still no one has given a report. Either it was real good and its starting to finally heat up or still really slow. Was anyone out there this past weekend?

You referring to Dardanelle? if so i can't speak for piney but the strip pits kicked my rear friday and sunday. caught a total of 6 crappie both days :( it was my first time fishing there and my first time ever fishing over 15ft deep lol. that takes some getting used to. Friday i spoke to a regular and he went on and on about how horrible it's been in the pits this year and he hadn't caught a fish so i felt good about the few i had. i guess i'll leave the lake alone until camp. it's an awful long drive from Cabot to try and make several trips and not do any good.
(um......um...... where are the strip pits, persackly?)
D10 it was the nice weather had everyone out in force fishing. I think for most people the bite wasn't any good. Can't judge a place by how many trucks are in the parking lot in the spring time when the weather is nice!
I went and caught 5 Saturday , still bad fishing .
was there mon. good day to fish. just not a good too catch.
Buddy fished there this weekend and didn't do any good
Those are great skills!! I get it, thank you. I have seen that area for umpteen years from the interstate, but never fished it. Still wonder why it's called that.
It's a place I need to learn. Last few years, you guys have torn that place up, plus Piney, best I heard...........
