Congrats to all, looks like you had good turnout for weather conditions in early am
of slabfest. Wind, more wind, rain, cold..................bummer, all looks sunny in

We welcome all to our events. We do not charge an entry fee, but we have a donation jar set out to take contributions, which go to cover the expenses for the events.
At each event we have been awarding trophies to the top three individuals (first, second, and third place), who bring the heaviest 5 fish to be weighed in and recorded and a trophy for the heaviest one fish to be weighed in.
Some of the expenses are also door prizes which we sell tickets for $1.00 each and have a drawing. Some of the door prizes are donated by members or some of our sponsoring bait and tackle shops in the area.
For a SLABTOGETHER we will be fishing until about 2:00PM then come in for weigh-in and raffle/drawings and award of trophies. NO MEAL PROVIDED.
For a SLABFEST we will be fishing until about 12:00 NOON, return to weigh-in, then we will have a meal. Past meals consisted of fried fish, hushpuppies, fires, cole slaw, baked beans (cold,or hot) Have had KFC chicken brought in, pizza. Food items for the table are welcome such as deserts, salads.
A note: ALL of the launch sites that we have used has a provision of NO ALCOHOL, no exceptions.
