Need to buy out of state license for Mississippi. In LA, the license runs out at the end of June. I often buy Mississippi hunting license and its for 12 months no matter when you buy. Is the fishing license 12 months or a certain date?

As it should be. In Missouri it runs out the end of febuary. Mississippi has it figured out.
I wish LA would take some lessons from ARK and MISS in a lot of areas.
Ours has only been changed in the last few years. It's a pain trying make sure it didn't run out. Finally got my Geeser license that don't run out, now if they would do that for boat registration:help
I like it being an out of stater i buy the year license on our last trip down then dont have to worry about it again until our last trip down the next year.
Mississippi just changed it not to long ago
I went cat fishing in Alabama two times last year and paid for a year. lol think august was the end date regardless of purchase date . 25 dollars a day is a bit steep . Mississippi should return the favor , if you reside in Alabama or any state that has A set end date . jmo .:popcorn
