Same here. They're saying most of the snow will be south of us. Hope they're right.
I think we're supposed to get sleet and freezing rain for the next couple days. Bring on spring!!!!!
Great weekend to have a boat show. Hope I can get em over there.
I lived a few years in Utah and got used to putting elevation with the snow line. I have been wondering if that applies here in Arkansas.
We we drove back from Kansas today and watched the gps in the truck for elevations. The elevations on hwy 7 between Nimrod and Jessieville range from about 575 feet to a little over 1100 feet. Below 850, no ice and very little snow. Once you got to 950 you saw more snow and the trees still have ice from last weeks storm.
I was was surprised that the ridge we lived on in the village is almost exactly the same elevation as the high point on hwy 7. We still have lots of snow and ice here.
Warhawk , we drove down #10 this afternoon and trees were really still iced over on the north side of the high mountains yet.
This has been a dandy winter. If it keeps up, my tomaters is gonna freeze.
