2/8 Fished Camp Branch marina dock at Smithville

It was a blast. I was kicked out of my house for a couple of hours so my wife could have a party so thought why not go fishing. Met a fellow fisherman that was killing it when i got there that helped me get on the fish right off. They were about 20 feet deep a couple feet off the bottom. Caught all off a black and white with chartreuse tail jig, double rigged. Was there about 3 hours and caught 25 but only 5 keepers just over 9". It was a blast. First time I have done that and will defiantly do it again.

I just got home from fishing little platte marina. Only caught 1 short crappie, I had way better luck a few weeks back. Yesterday I fished the guy b park conservation area. Only caught 2 bluegill. One was 8"

You guys did better than me. I just took the boy to Cabela's and l looked at them thru the glass.

We did hit a triple D (diners, drives and dives) establishment. Took him to Grinders after!

Of course and she made the crappie for dinner.

I've been so busy I don't think I've had a chance to fish for about a good 2 months :( Soon. Crappie spawn can't come soon enough.
