Couldn't stand it

Had to go wet a line,no thicker than the ice was,shoulda stayed home.:yikesA friend beat me there and slid a small boat out on the ice and was sitting in it.He had 4 channel cats and no crappie.I eased out there and caught 1 crappie and missed 5 or 6 bites .He was fishing minnows and I was jigs.Felt good,didn't stay to long after I seen ducks landing in some open water not to far from us.Must be turning chicken in my old age.:biggrin

Sounds like you got out and got your fish fix. Congrats on that.

I haven't got that brave yet, but its been going through my thoughts.
