Snow Crappie/2-7-14

As I watched the Snow Fall, and few others out it was me and the pelicans enjoying the winter weather, as I put the Ole 9.9 into gear and busted the way up Gold Creek through the Ice. It was a good evening of fishing and I brought home 18 decent fish. The Hot hands and Hot feet worked like a charm along with the mounds of clothes I had on. I struggled to keep my gloves dry wiping my hands with a good dry towel each time before putting them back on. The only bad thing was watching two good fish get off on me which would have made my limit. But Ohh well I will take 18 any day of the week. I am struggeling with Driving to Little Rock for Crappie Mania or going back up the creek this evening to try and catch another mess. If I am not there you know where I'll be. For another Snow day of fishing.

Well that done it, I can see that I have no grounds to say it's to cold or nasty out anymore, all my excuses are gone, I just have to face the cold hard fact that I'm just not tough enough. But I have to say dog gone Russ them are some good fish. Two thumbs up here.You the man.
