Which part of the lake are you going to be on?

Not for sure I have never fished it. Me and a buddy plan on coming down the middle or end of march.
Man that's tuff. I'd say stay at Eufaula Boys! LMAO! Just kidding Brian, there are tons of places to stay but you might have to bring an extension cord or 2. Lots of small towns have lots of motels. You could rent a slip just for the power. Done it.
The Falls Inn has a good reputation.

I have looked at lakeview and also American cabins. They both have ramps close by but would I be able to put in there and find fish or would I need to travel to other ramps to find better fishing?
There is American Cabins, just off of hiway 9a and hiway 69-mid lake. They are log cabins, look good from the road. http://americancabinsok.com/
Lakeview Landing Motel caters to fishermen, has rooms that you can back your boat up to. Lakeview is near hiway 9a and hiway 9. Both of these are in the Longtown area.
In Eufaula, there is a Best Western. Been there about 5 years. If you are fishing down south, might be best to go to McAlester.
Eufaula is the largest lake in the state. My great great grandfather was actually one of the founders of that town a very long time ago. I am more familiar with the north end of the lake but that is like saying you are kind of know main street in Kansas City. There is so much more to it than that. I bet Ranger or EB gets on here and can tell you where to hit it at.
Also, let us know when you are going to be in town and maybe we can all meet up or something.

We have a cabin right by the American cabins, they do look really nice. The ramp there by the cabins can be kinda tricky to get out to the main body of water, shallow and stumps!!! We usuall drive the 10 miles or so south to crowder to put in and fish crowder, rock creek, and blocker area from the crowder ramp. I also like to fish Gaines creek area which would be closer to get to from mcalester.
