I finally finished the crappie mounts for my dad and uncle. We took a guided trip out of Okeechobee last March and caught some nice ones. The biggest was 14 inches and 1.7 pounds. I made a pair of reproduction mounts and plan to give them each one when they come visit me from "up north" in a few weeks!
Very nice of you to do that for them. Crappie sure make pretty mounts!

Thanks all. They are both getting up there in years and I don't know how long they'll be around to enjoy. They took me fishing when I was just a pup and I hope they like their presents! It was the very least I could do for them.
