Looking for an old fishing buddy.

about 14-15 years ago I worked in the Jackson Mississippi area, I managed a car rental operation in jackson ms. My ZEP salesmen took me out crappie fishing a few times on ross barnett res.

It's been a while and i have forgotten his name, but was hoping someone might know him on here. At the time he had a ranger type fiberglass boat and the main technique i remember him using was to slowly move through the stumps using his trolling motor while holding a rod in each hand.

Would love to say hello to him again.

Thats him!!! i knew i would recognize the name as soon as someone said it.

He's a real nice guy, I think he has recently retired from ZEP and writes a monthly article in the MS sportsman magazine called "As Big As They Grow". I believe he currently is trying to master the art of crankbaiting for crappie.

And THAT'S why I love this site. Tickled ya found him. Now, get in a boat with him.......soon!!!!

I am retired ZEP rep in Arkansas.Knew Paul's predecessor. Leon Schulmister was the rep for forty odd years. I retired in1994.

Sure enough. Man i went crappie fishing with him two times and he end's up writing crappie fishing articles for the big newspaper!.... Lol i guess some of my amazing crappie fishing knowledge rubbed off on him... :Rofl :Rofl
