Stayed in the house all day Friday with a sore throat and runny nose. :) Slept in till 9am. Got up and rumble around the house. Thinkin what to do with my time. Pick up a little in the den. Fed the cat. Pull my bait box out a the boat and thought about gluining some tube jigs. Did twenty, looked at the clock and it's 12:30 and the sun is shinning.
Put the bait box back in the boat and said it's time to go catch while I can. Ran down the Hwy. to get some real gas for the big motor. 3 gal. top it off.
Got to the landing about 2 and paid the lady my $3. Waters low and clear. Ran to my deep water hole (12') and drug the black n chart tube allong the bottom. Green trout was first to bite. 2 throw back sacs and then the slab hit. :biggrin Kept a few trout and some sacs.
Nice afternoon on the water. Till the sun dipped behind the trees. Got cold quick. Ran to the landing and had the lady there fix my a toddy for the ride home.:biggrin
