Customized head mold
I have one or two molds I use for new experiments . Love JB wield . I wanted to make a few no collar jig heads out of collared ones! The heads after pouring are loose! Has anyone had same results? Powder coating resolves the issue. Wanted to lighten the head weights. Do-it molds tend to be heaver and on my grain scales I know exactly what my heads weight! The creeks I'll be fishing this year will be very shallow stump fields in spawning areas . Will try the new 1/50th heads and adjust with a cork as they go to the bank! Oh round ball heads

Couple things - Let the lead cool in the mold a little longer after you pour and make SURE!!! you pull them from the mold by the pour sprue

Smaller heads that I have since given up on come loose when wiggling the sprue to break it off. I was careful about manhandling them out of the molds and cut the sprue instead. I got the best results this way. Good pair of gate cutters do fine with a small learning curve.
