Jordan Condition
Jordan is getting back down to it's normal level, 216ft. I suspect it'll take a while to actually "settle". Any input as to how long this wll take before it's "fishable"? Anybody know the actual water temp? I've got the fever Bad and caint wait for the fish to start moving up. Had decent luck in mid Feb. last year tightlining in shallow water. Thanks for any input.

I went on Sunday for a short while. The wind was blowing me all over the place. The water was 45.6 by the 64 bridge. I don't fish Jordan enough to say how long it takes to clear up but I never caught a fish using minnows. As you can see by the pic I was marking some fish but no takers. There were just a couple of other boats around and I don't think they caught anything either.

The Army Corp had the temperature going under the dam at 50 this morning. Like above, the surface temperature is several degrees lower. I'm concerned about the next week with lots of low temp's coming up. Shad need 42 degrees to survive and we may see some of those temp's. Bottom-line, in February the water will start warming and the fish will head into the shallows. I'm going to start another thread on this subject and daylight to get some input.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Glad to see it's at least fishable. Thought it might be to muddy. Good picture on DF. At least we know they're there. Cold water temps and weather conditions most probably why they arn't biting. Maybe it will be better as the water level stabalizes more. Hope so.
