Need some help
I was reading about a few out of state organizations that take veterans fishing. Do any of you know if there are any like this in South Louisiana? I talked with my wife a bit, and although we do not have a lot of money to donate, we do have time and a boat. We decided that with the upcoming spawn season (which is the only time I can consistently catch fish) that it would be nice to give back. We're looking to take some vets fishing, maybe put them on some fish, enjoy a relaxing day on the water, and hopefully start a few new friendships. It's a great idea and offer. I've heard of a program called Wounded Warrior that you may look into. Not sure if it's city specific...like only in Bossier, or nationwide, but something to start with. Thanks for stepping up to the plate to do something for our vets!

Definitely!!!! As stated above you can work through wounded warrior. The welcome and love those types of "donations" a good friend of mine works through them and takes vets hog hunting.

There is also Make a wish Foundation for Termanally ill children.... some are still pretty Mobile and it is one of their Wishes.

Hey fish on, me being a vet is the reason I thought of Veterans first, but I think make a wish is a wonderful idea. Thanks
