Been cooped up too long... really wanting to wet a line and get a mess of crappie to throw on the Dinner Table, Sunday night. Sunday is looking to be the nicest day, around 60 degrees. Anybody having any luck off the marina docks?

I went fishing for about 3 hours this past Saturday (1/19) off the docks. Caught a lot of fish but most were short. Ended up with 7 keepers best being 11". Had about the same luck the weekend prior to this one. They're biting good but a lot of dinks between keepers
Maybe we just weren't doing it right, but we got BLANKED :(
had the kiddo with me too and that wind just chilled ya to the bone, even though we were bundled up. We fished from 8a to 10:30a before we rolled it up. cars started showing up as we were pulling out of the parking lot.
on a side note, at the little platte marina, the temp dealio on my car said 32, by the time we got into the main drag there in town (by Burton's), it had rocketed up to 45.
NO WORRIES though. We were fishing in the Middle of January. ALL GOOD :)
They seemed to really like the 1/16th ounce kastmaster spoon. Also was using a half clear/ half red sparkle jig that I cut the body in half and put on a 1/16th oz jig head
can you still fish on all the docks or do they limit you to one or two docks/
Great thanks I'll give it a shot this week end and see if I can find em.
