I seen this on another site that guy is very lucky
Yes he is. Its nice to see his new motor is working just fine!
I came very close to having drastic problems of my own similar to this, but not nearly as bad..when I was out with a friend one time and a large boat was heading straight for us, the operator of the boat quite intoxicated...my pal swung the tiller hard to get out of their path when a jet skiier also frantically trying to get out of the mix is now heading straight for us and my buddy turns the tiller hard in the opposite direction where it gets stuck...we went into an extremely tight spin and started taking on water, I was thrown to the bottom of the boat, tangled in a mess of junk he insisted on bringing along, while he was frantically trying to free the tiller...this easily could have turned into a bad situation for the both of us and the guys on the larger boat kept circling us and laughing about the situation while this was all going on.
I'm a great swimmer, but, I always want a life jacket if I'm in a boat with anyone now...
thanks for sharing that article.
bad deal! sounds like he got lucky if that would have been me, i would drown. no way my health would let me swim that long. probably be a fitting end though. lol
I think you underestimate your will to survive...you'd make it river scum, just so you could continue to enlighten us with your fishing expertise :)
makes me think twice! That's for sure.
