Taft lake

Just wondering if anyone ever fishes this small impoundment on highway 16?

I used to with a kayak, I dont think I ever caught crappie, just bass. I was a crappie newbie then, so take it with a grain of salt.

I fish it on occasion for crappie.ive put in a few brush piles and found a few and there is a hump on the east end in the middle that usually has a few crappie on it.its pretty good when you find em.has some big uns but they can sure disappear for such a small lake!
