Congrats, you gonna manhandle boat all by yourself?
You need to put a bow stop and a good winch on the front of that trailer
Put a water pump in when you do the fuel pump Don. Nice little boat for that back water.
You said 9 1/2 HP. I had one of those, a 1970 model. It was not very fast, but it cranked and ran like a fine swiss watch. They replaced it with the 9.9 later in the 70s I think, but the old 9 1/2 was easy to work on and seldom needed it.
Let us know how it does.
Got a lot of little things I wanna do. Gonna sand down the trailer n paint it. Then the wench n bow stop plus some rear straps. Thinking about mounting my old 71 lb motor guide up front. I could pull a skier with that on there lol
The motor will give me something to tinker with. I'll learn a lot with this boat since it was do cheap . If I break something Im not out much
That'll be a sweet little rig when its done DD!!! Congrats!!
Do it got rivets? Better check and see if it leaks anywhere.Gonna do some puddle jumping?
