Surprise
Me and a friend were fishing Keystone early fall. Had thrown out 6 jugs to try to catch some dinner, then went crappie fishing. Caught 2 dinks under Salt Creek Bridge
and moved to what few stickups we knew. Third stump I am throwing a jig with 2lb. Pitch in and zip pop. What the heck was that? I'm thinking largemouth, but awfully fast.
We switched heavier and caught 5-5lb stripers nosed up to the stump. We had never seen that before. I did lose about a 15lb blue on 2lb that was off a stump a few years back.

was fishing Gibson several springs ago. way back up in Jane Dennis creek. Had an old Zebco doodle sockin rod with 2 lb silverthread jigging a willow that had fallen in to about 4 ft of water. as soon as the jig hit the water KABLAMM! 16 lb grass carp landed!! talk about fun!
