As a follow up, how many hooks does everyone use on state lakes 3, 4, more per pole?
I use 3 when longlining 2 when rigging. Only use three to get the depth I need without going up in jig size. Plus an extra hook never hurts
Set up for 2 and don't change up when somewhere other than the big 4. Gonna get an annual pass the first of Feb, got a bone to pick at a certain unfriendly but pretty lake.
