Great day on the water

Eileen and I had a really good day of fishing today. The winds were calm and it actually got hot after lunch. We caught lots of fish and Eileen beat me today with 3 fish over 2 lbs to my 1. The biggest fish went 2lbs9oz's at 161/8". All were caught on jigs in 11' to 14' fow. We were glad to get out today with the weather looking kind of iffy. Oh did I mention we were at Crescent lake. All big fish went back to grow into 3pounders. We actually keeped some fish for dinner tomorrow.

agreed...don't forget your roots of 10.5" fish with worms from Walker's dam. hahah. Great pics- what a way to spend a winter. I'm in Richmond...supposed to go from 50 to 19 in a matter of hours Monday afternoon into overnight Tuesday, with absolutes in the single digits and wind chill around 0. Coldest weather in a generation on Tuesday according to the paper and local news. Burrr. nice miss!

Great job. Show Vic how it's done, but remember to leave some for us hopefully we will be with you'll next year if the Good Lord willing, sure miss you'll this year. Looking forward to some good fishing at Kerr in spring with you'll,and the rest of the group. Keep having fun

Crescent lake is located in Crescent city Florida about 70 miles south west of Jacksonville fl.
