Very cool. A great pass it down!
That's the best, You should be doing the same by putting one together for your son or grandkids.

Hey PPG, His (Dad's) honey holes are long gone. Due to coastal erosion.
Took the oldest son and family to the airport this AM. Back to China. Good visit with him. Got his son a lifetime license. Certificate arrived today.
Youngest son is to busy to fish at this time in his life. He use too out fish me on bass.
This is an awesome keepsake. Fishing was/is both my dads and my first love. My dad passed away on 12/13/13 just 2 days after his 65th birthday. He had been battling cancer for 3 years he was primarily a bass fisherman and that's what we did mainly but I was turning him on to the sacalait. So if any of you are wondering why I was always asking prodding questions trying to learn the sacs that's part of the reason.
I understand about your younger son. I, and I imagine many of us, have been in and out of fishing at different times in our lives. Now that I'm an ol' geezer, fishing is one of the things that I can still do with regularity. I just have to pick my moments. I'm glad you got to spend some quality time with your older son, many times as we age those days get further and further apart.
