Anyone else ready?
Is anyone else ready and thinking about the upcoming year of crappie fishing. I know I am looking forward to fishing some new places in January and February and hopefully catching a few slabs in the process. I know I haven't had the chance to go lately and was planning on fishing the next week before I head back to school, but with the weather and wind forecast not looking promising will just have to play it by ear and hope for a day or two with bareable winds. I believe that if the lakes settle and the weather gains a little stability we will be in for some good fishing before to long. Wish you all good luck and hope to see the reports rolling in before long.

I'm ready too, Roland......February is my favorite time to fish....and it won't be long now!

After a good long rest and break, the fishing urge is beginning to stir. With 2 Crappie Master events slated for SC in February I'll be spending some days on the water before to long.

I been ready, hadn't really stopped :) Roland I know you will be on the water soon catching those big spawning slabs. Like Kieth, I look forward to fishing February. I been fishing in the kayak lately catching some good fish although some days are slow with all this rain we have been having. A few of use have plans to hit Hartwell tomorrow for some striper fishing (in the yaks) but it sounds like the winds may change our plans. :dono I hope everyone is getting their gear in order for this new year of fishing.:)

I am ready to get the boat wet and get back to fishing all we need is some stable weather and less rain for me to get started back. Winds are supposed to be high this weekend so that will keep me home. I am looking forward to a couple trips to Florida to catch some of there crappie in the following months. Hope everyone gets to catch boat loads in the coming months

I still have the new Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 55lb trolling motor and new Raymarine Dragonfly to install, but after that I am ready. I've been too busy catching these tasty white perch out of Murray to catch up and the copious amounts of rain has not helped. :banghead
