Haven't been down in a few wks.. So how bad muddy is Douglas??? Was going to head down wed any info would be good.. Thanks
Every other weekend it seems to rain, and gets muddy again. I'm going out in the morning and I'll give heads up if its still real murky.
Ok man sounds good hope ya catch a boat load....
i read an article once, this couple was fishing in muddy water an slaying the crappie.the secret was that they were using pink bobby garlands, around stumps.i dont know what time of year it was, they didnt say,but apparently pink works good in murky to muddy water.hope this helps.
Caught them good on DARK green (not Chartreuse) sat in 8 ft of water under a float and it was a CLAY HOLE. No minnow. Twitch the float 3 times, pause and continue all the way to the boat. The bite was LIGHT and 99 % of the time they would barely move the float and when they did they raise it UP and the float would fall over. If it's choppy use a pencil float. Oh, and if they stop pulling water the bite slows WAY down. Good luck.
