I am redoing my boat and was wondering which would you go with single rod holders or the T - Bar style with the four. I have been reading up on them thinking about going with the single one. Also looking at some HDS5 electronics. Just asking

I am rather new at the long-lining thing and I started out with the T-bar. I do not know how to compare, but I have enjoyed success fishing this way. However, that being said...I have heard that single holders will not shake other rods as a fish strikes a rod. I must admit that I all four of my poles will shake a little when one fish is on...I have to make a quick scan to figure out which rod has the fish on. Not sure if I'm splitting hairs. There's my two cents.
personal opinion, t-bar is what I had on my bass boat. just keep them clear of the trolling motor raise and lower activity. Miss seeing your posts, Ranger
I fished with T-Bars for years and loved them. They just didn't work out on the boat I have now. CG1 makes a good point about clearance for the trolling motor.
I have been really busy with church, school, and work. I have been fishing just have not been posting anything been keeping to myself. Have been seeing a lot of disgruntled people and some post that I think don't make any sense or belong here, If I wanted that I would get a personal Facebook account or something. Everything is great though how about out you crappie girl long time no hear or see.
definitely the T bar type....Take a look over in Sponsor Classifieds at the Spiderlocks that E-Z Poleholder is selling

I mounted my trolling motor in a way that it does not get in the way of rod holders, front fish finder, or compartment doors etc. Attachment 146317Attachment 146317
