Northwest river/ bob's. 28DEC13

Took my dad out today, it was his first fishing trip since getting hurt at work in August. He broke his left leg and had an open fracture. Later, mrsa came to visit and then ganegrene. Luckily his drs were able to get everything back in working condition and he actually is walking around pretty good.

Anyway, to the fishing. Put in at noon, trolling motored around playing with my new fish finder. We never did mark much, but the Dsi is pretty nice.
We ended up about 100yds from the ramp and caught 3 crappie and 1 yellow perch. Once again, pop caught more. No size to any of them, hand sized, 7-9" at best.

Everything was on greenish blue and yellow triple threat grubs. And oddly real shallow, 5-8ft. Water temps around 44*.

Good report especially the part about your dad getting better, and you spent a nice day together fishing, way to go pops you put it on him.

Its great to get out with your dad. Sure wish mine was still around to go with. He loved fishing.
