Shelbyville 12/27
A buddy and I decided to give it a try today. We launched from Eagle Creek around 10 and headed south. There was a band of ice all the way across the lake blocking our way to the north. We did best on submerged timber. 20 feet deep in 30-40 fow. We did break through the ice and head north a little later. We looked around Beckets cove and railroad bridge area. Spots in becket were iced in, and handful of spots we knew of in railroad area didn't show any fish on the down scan so headed back south. We ended up catching around 15-18 fish. half of which were 8-9 inches. Buddy did catch the big fish of the day. Had four chubby 12 inch fish. Didn't have near the success I had in November but sure enjoyed feeling that thump!! We used chartreuse, chartreuse/white, and Chartreuse/red and caught fish with all. Water temps were at or near 37 most of the day.
