Gas gauge in the console is not working anymore. I got to thinking back on it and it came to me that they quit working when we swapped out our battery chargers I think. Can I get some input on fuses, wires, or what it may be, THANKS!!!

Under the console if not mistaken, is that all that aint working??
I am sure that is the only thing not working that was working when we got the boat. In other words I guess that is all I need to get working. RPM and other instruments seem to be working.
My first guess would be a fuse. Check your fuses in the compartment in front of the drivers console. If they are all good, I'd suspect a bad sending unit in the fuel tank.
I've had that happen before and it too was when I'd done something else.. It was the ground wire...
Mine quit this year and I just knew it was the sending unit, but it wasn't, ended up being the gauge itself. I would've never thought that, go figure.
Ground wire. Remove at back of gauge and at the sender on top of the tank and clean it with a piece of sand paper even if it looks brand new. If you can, meter the ground after that.
Wannabe...
Most gauges work on a resistance to ground. The sending unit at the tank will have two wires. If you short them out the gauge should go to full as long as the one wire has a good ground. If the gauge does not move the problem is with the gauge(power supply , bad gauge, ground wiring). If it does go full the problem is the sending unit.
