Slabfest 2.0

After a day like yesterday it was going to take more than 50 mile drive to keep me away from water. I reckon we got started a little after noon. The sun was bright and shining like a new Mercedes, with a quick glance around the pool to my surprise only three other boats . Wow this has to be too good to be true . I stopped at the brush pile I fished yesterday and couldn't hit a lick ... What happened? Look up and what do I see Dad over there with a rod bowed over he takes it off the hook reaches over for his stringer an had two more on it!! What the heck I thought. That sucker. I finally drifted down and got the little buddy depth finder from him and got sat up on good pile of fish and worked up a few good eating fish . I never really did just start stroking them but I got into some better fish later in the evening. Today they wanted a pink 1/8th oz head on that baby shad bobby garland electric chicken flavor lol Dont leave home without your nibbles!!! Ended up catching 17 and dad had 9 winner winner crappie dinner son is teaching the ole man a thing or two haha. I did get to meet a couple more c.comers it's always nice to see a face to the name I enjoyed talking to em ... Anyways I will see you out there tomorrow for vol.3Attachment 145110Attachment 145113
