Had always used rubber bands or bread ties ----- but saw these and thought they would work with a lot less trouble --- BUT --- the price is 2.99 for a pair (use for 1 rod). Seen them on the Southern Pro sight.

I use the small Velcro strips that you can from the big box stores.
Yes, I use something almost identical except they are from Bass Pro Shop, and they have a sponge type cushion against the hard plastic. Same great price, good quality. I guess if I had a couple dozen poles, it would cost me a small fortune but right now I only have four, so I still have a few coins in my piggy bank and I don't have my girl friends hair clips stuffed in my pockets. Then again I don't have a girl friend either. lol , And the wife doesn't use them, so I would have to buy them too.Quote:

I just make my own using some bungee and some plastic stops I bought. Below is the link to the stops I got.

I use them. Bought 6 pair. Was using Velcro strips, but these are easier and quicker. Highly recommend them.
