Has anyone ever installed a new lower unit on a MinnKota? I bought a new lower unit for my 101 and thought I would ask before I started. Looks to just screw on the shaft with some loctite sealer?

I'm not real sure what type of glue they use. I would look it up on you tube and see what ya find. a lot of good info there.
Having mine installed by shop in loz I bought it from for free.
I would bet it would be some type or RTV silicone I read on here long time ago, several of the guys were cutting the shafts and running wires for depth transducers. maybe you can find the thread, I think Cane Pole had some info.
