I guess it depends on what you are wanting to fish for more than anything. If you are wanting crappie this time of year I would suggest Banner Creek. If you want a mixed bag you could try Pomona, Melvern, Wolf Creek, Perry or Clinton. They are all good lakes, it just depends on what you are wanting to fish for.
welcome to Gods country lad good luck on the apprenticeship
Thanks Springhill…
@ crappieslinger I'm interested in crappie and more crappie. Wouldn't mind trying to find some walleye though if there are any around…Thanks for anything man.
Just pay attention to this site, you will get some great ideas. Perry can be a good lake for crappies this time of year, Melvern has been slow this year for crappie at least for me. Good luck and welcome to the board and Kansas.
Pm sent
I cant help you up north, but if you ever want to fish around toronto, john redmond, wilson county lake, or maybe melvern, send me a pm and maybe we can hook up. I am a Missouri transplant myself, grew up at stockton, but have been in kansas since early 90's. I wouldnt be much good for kansas info. right now because I have been going to Missouri and fishing stockton every chance I get. Welcome to the kansas forum.
