Attachment 143940went to grl today ,had 20 keepers .pulled this out,some type of fungus I m thinking.does any one know what that is.?? very grose looking,hard ,bloody clump of nasty.half of it broke off and fell in the boat.

dont know what it is but i have seen it on fish
well he was keeping size but he he got a free pass,i kinda lost my appitite when I saw that!!!!!!
I think its called columnaris and its an infection caused by bacteria. Contagious to other fish but harmless to humans. If it gets on the meat, just cut it out.
I guess I shoulda tossed him on the bank
