The time is here when crappie fisherman that lack skills (like me) can catch them up in Suffolk lakes. Son was in town and we spend 3 hours drifting deep water and came home with 16 fish between 10 and 11 inches. Jigs tipped with winnows. White best color, 22 to 27 feet of water.
Sounds like my kind of fishing...
Catching fish is great but spending time with your son is priceless.
