The fish seem to be holding on anything close to the bank, 3-10 foot. Now I'm just bank fishing, but I'm sure it would still work from a boat. I don't know if they are in deeper water or not, since I haven't been in a boat, but I'd give it a try also. I had 35 keepers fishing from the bank yesterday in 3 hours--All were released. Best time of year for crappie as it seems most of them are over 10 inches.
Have a lot of respect for a man that knows when he has enough in the freezer!!! Great job xxl
I bet those twigs to the right of that clump of trees "up around the corner" is loaded up now. In that bay we were both fishing that one day... We pulled 11 overs off of those twigs two weeks ago.
I think jerry is right . you should be able to find some shallow fish anywhere on the lake up into dec. , if the lake doesn't freeze. I caught them 3ft. deep on the south end last year in the 2nd week of dec. just watch the wind and stay out of it.
its going to be cold thats for sure, that is where i am headed jeff at least to start with.
Good luck to ya!!!!!
