Those look great, hadn't thought about those for years!
:cheers2
Wow. Has to have been since my Son and I built one I think. Use to run into them while out hunting all the time. I always caught more of the "other" critters than rabbits. Cool pics. Sure takes me back.
Very Nice Job Brother!!
They look good! I have built a lot of them
Those are nice. What great memories you have brought back to me , Thanks.
I can remember as a chap, when my grandfather would would catch a possum in his rabbit boxes,he would "burn it out".He allways said the rabbit wouldnt go in it if he smelled the possum.I made one out of a sawmill slab for the top and sides,,it looked just like a short piece of pine log.I gave it to a guy that owned the local hardware store,he had it in the display window for a long time..I told him if anyone asked,it was a rabbit box that you set on "posted land"! Thanks for sharing the pics..
Those are too purty to leave in the woods. Hey, my wife caught a baby possum with her hands last weekend around our deck. When I was a tyke, we had a good snow and my dad and his friend went rabbit hunting with sticks in our neighborhood. (he was an Alabama boy :))
What a coincidence. For the last couple weeks I have been thinking about making a couple to catch some possums that have taken up residence under one of my sheds.
