My father-in-law are going out Friday to try and get a few Crappie before winter sets in He lives in LR...I was thinking Overcup or Harris Brake...Both I have been to once...Dont really know the good holes...Anyone else have any ideas? ARound the LR area...REally wanted to go up and go fishing with JT Crappie guide but things didnt work out so hopefully someone will have some ideas....

TJ, for placed to fish around LR, go over and talk to Tony Zimmerman at Zimmerman's Exxon. You can buy beer and bait there. He will tell you where it is hot around the LR area and what to fish with. Tell him Allen Barnes sent you and that I expect him to put you on some fish.

Went to Harris Brake Friday, and caught 2 Crappie...A bunch of small Bass and a bunch of White Bass...First time at that lake...Just couldnt find them...But both crappie we caught was over 12"...We just let them go, not enough fish to mess with...
