We had a good meeting Saturday evening. We'll be having one more meeting (we ran long Saturday) to finalize the 2014 tournament schedule (location, date and time TBD) I'll get the revised rules and 2014 schedule posted then. We're restructuring the tournament schedule to conclude before the hot summer months. We'll be having several tournaments in a fairly short period of time since we're starting later this coming season. The 2014/15 season will most likely begin earlier in the fall (Sept. or Oct.) and run through May. I don't want to list all of the changes until they're in black and white, but I can touch on a couple: Anglers must weigh in live fish; Beech Bend tournaments will now launch out of Mouse Tail Landing (they have a really nice courtesy dock and a good ramp); we're planning on a tournament at Eva Beach.
We're looking forward to the upcoming year and feel that the changes we're making will be good for the club and boost our membership.
