Try Big Coon Lake.Nice size in that lake!
actually the crappie bite can be phenominal this time of year as can the gills.......I went to a stump field on Lake Redstone just this past Monday and had a wild day on gills and slabs.....Gold #10 Genz worm tipped with a orange "wormi" and some on pink "stoni's"....the deep edge off the stumps held gobs of fish, air temp was 38 with a monster wind...held my jiggin' stick tip in the water to get out of the wind and just hammered on them. They as other species know that feeding opportunities are getting slimmer and will most definitely take advantage of the offerings. Checl the first magor breaks near structure, especially breaks with weeds and or structure.
p/s/ Crappie Magnet, Hope you are doing better, get well and get out of that hospital!! lOBY
