Happy (early) Veterans Day

Took a vet out today to thank him for his service as a Veterans Day gift....

Tough conditions with a eastnortheast wind blowing, but managed to put together a good limit. Had 8 of these hawgs plus 32 more nice fish rounding a healthy cooler of fish.

Thank you veterans for the freedoms we enjoy so much! This day always makes me think about my Grandpa who was a WWII Submariner in the Pacific Theater. He was tough as nails and I miss him dearly! He was the one who first took me fishing and one if the reasons why my profession is a fisheries biologist. Thank you veterans!

I am a Vietnam Combat Vet. I just found out today that 1% of America's population are veterans. So to all you 1% ers out there, Welcome Home and hope you get home safe. Have a great day because we damn sure deserve it.
