New Mold
Just got my new Do-It catalog so I guess it is ok to release some info from them. They have a new minnow head multiple cavity wire keeper mold. I have been using the wire keeper jigs for a while on other jig heads and they work great. Helps from splitting the baits after 1 fish. Still not on their web site.

Lordy guys , bend a ss wire lay it in the mold along with hook one cavity at a time . Close the mold smack it with a lead maul . From then on you got a wire keeper mold .

I received this mold today in the mail. It is a great looking mold. I will try and post some pics of the finished project tomorrow when I get back from fishing. I do not have any of the wire keepers yet but I will and pour without them. That way you can at least see how the head looks.

By the way. The mold runs from 1/48 up to 3/8 of an ounce.

BoBo, I use to make the wires by hand. Very easy.

Ifish, Do you know if you can pour the mold without the wires? If so will it overflow in the wire area or what?

Yes it will have a little dribble down the hook shank. Easy to clean. Just bend a paper clip or .032 soft stainless wire the shape you see on do-its webby. I use a pair of small side cutters to bend and cut. Those wires cost more than the hooks. Crazy!!!!!
