Using buckets?

Being the scrounge I am and cheap (I prefer frugal) I always look for ways to stretch what I find. Stake buckets don't require more than 35 lbs of crete or so and this leaves a lot of the bucket unused and doing nothing. When I find buckets with lids, which most of us leave behind, I set the table saw shallow and cut em in half by rolling them thru the blade,, resulting in 2 for 1. When the stakes won't stand on their own when the crete is wet, I use a section of wire fence to cage them til they dry. My stakes are 4' or more and are usually cut to 1X2 or smaller if shorter. This also allows the fish to get in among the bottom. You see where I'm going with this, hope it help y'all stretch your limited resources.

Sounds like a plan ! As far as attractors go, "more" is MORE ! Drop them in numbers like bombs falling during a B-52 "Arc Light " strike when ever possible...

Try buckets with plastic pipe or wooden stakes . Assemble on the water and add rocks to sink. Low cost (all my stuff is free) and easy to transport , even more so assembled on the spot. No concrete so no waiting for it to dry.
