On Vacation! Which one Greenwood or Murray?

I'm on vacation this week and trying to go a couple of times this week. Has anybody been to either lately? Still on brush or have they moved off? Thanks

I have fished both lakes many times over the years, and my opinion would be to go to Greenwood. I have never been to Greenwood when I couldn't at least catch a few, regardless of the conditions. Not sure of your preferred technique, or skill set, but minnows have been the hot bait on must lakes this year. Tightlining minnow tipped jigs will put a few in the boat, I guarantee it! Focus on creek and channel ledges, but I'm certain a good many fish can be found in some shallower water if bait is present. Keep the boat moving, if stumps are brush are seen on the depth finder, slow down, and fish thoroughly. Vary baits depths, Tommy and I went out last Friday for a short spell, the fish were hugging the bottom in all water depths fished.

I would have to agree with Greenwood. Minnows always seem to be a great bait there. Have not seen many reports coming from Murray. Hope you have a good time :)

Greenwood, Go to the back of the creeks and work your way out, the fish are moving in and out right now, watch for the bait. Go early and watch for bait in the shallow water, also try to find stain water at this time of year. Don't forget to try some 5 to 8 foot of water also. Lots Of Luck!!!!!!!!

Greenwood would be a great choice. I went there Sunday for some striper action and bait was everywhere. Good Luck
