Ridin' King Whitey
Crappie fishings been just that, fishing. Nothing to write home about, except this time of year the brush gives up plenty of "other" fish also. Catfish and black bass, whites/wipers, with the occasional eye or rough fish. However, those whites can pick-up a slow day and make it bearable. The home course been giving up them in the 1-2lb range. Tuttle's been offering some exceptional trophy sized fish, 4# whiteys are nice fish. Glen usually has some really good whites, some years those 4-5lb fish are somewhat common. Marion, Cheney, heck just about all of them offer good fishing. I'm just a thump junkie, ya know.:twocents
