Ladder rack
I want a ladder rack like this one.
TLR3 Pickup Truck Ladder Rack - 3 Ladder Capacity
But I don't want to drill holes in the bed of the truck. I have 4 square holes with slots on the inside of the bed. Square tube ought to fit the square holes already there with a reinforced threaded bolt hole. They should go at $50 per pair with a good coat of powder paint.

Jimmy, go up to Harbor Freight and see what they got and check NorthernTool.

I like that tire step down below it.

Forget about those sissy store bought rigs. Buy yourself some 1 1/4 blk steel pipe and some angle iron and build you own. Here's mine on the 1 ton gmc and my buddies on the f550. Attachment 139808Attachment 139809Attachment 139810Attachment 139811

I don't think I'll need any angle iron. Looks like square tube and flat iron.
I would have to do some modifying on this one.
Truck Ladder Rack - 250 Lb. Capacity
I have a few contact emails out to different companies about a stake pocket mount. Most replies say they don't carry them.

How many ladders you gonna haul Cane?? If only one or two just come straight up 2 pieces of square tubing and put a stud thru it. Inside the be you could fasten the tubing to make it secure.

It will be used to haul 2 kayaks. They weigh about 35 pounds each. All of the kits I've looked at mount on top of the rail or inside the bed. Mounting holes will have to be drilled, which I don't want.
I got to thinking about this a bit more. Using the front stake pocket would put the bottom yak close to the cab. Not much on the rack for support.

8 foot.
I carried them to Sardis this past week tied in the bed of the truck with the end hanging over the tailgate, no problem there. The bed was loaded down with a lot of extra stuff on the way home.
I can go this style.
Workstar Pickup Truck Rack
On ebay they can be dirt cheap with free shipping, or higher priced than this one with almost the same price for shipping. Mount them on the inside of the rail instead of the top.
